Sold: St. James Episcopal, Eureka Springs

St. James has sold from Out on Main in Eureka!

I was so happy to hear the story of the young couple who bought it. They had been told at another gallery that they "didn't belong" because they were not "serious collectors." I couldn't be sadder that anyone would be treated that way, but I couldn't be happier that they chose my painting from the friendliest gallery in town. I'm thrilled that Pat and Lee keep asking for more!

I love the simple beauty of the St. James building. But as I don't do "simple" (or "serious") very well, I had a lot of fun pulling colors out of the boards, imagining a long and rich history, and doing it up "T-Lo style."

"Why so serious?"
