Just went to my local Thing Store to buy a couple of cables because I'm in a hurry to hook up my new Thing. Salesteen says, "Here they are. Only $24.99 each." I say, "You must have some that cost less." Salesteen informs me that, to the contrary, that is what things like this cost. I inform Salesteen that I can get them much cheaper online (have done so in the past). Salesteen replies, "That's why they are online." I guess he meant that they must be inferior if they are online. Salesteens are so smart.
So I leave the Thing Store and go home to order online. One-tenth the price, free shipping to my door in two days. I can wait two days.
Come on. It's wire.
